I started Polychrome to help alleviate some of the common bottlenecks that I saw happening in the design rooms of every fashion brand I have ever worked for.

The embrace of motifs and items that are decidedly un-cool, even dowdy, is very stylish at the moment, so it should be no surprise that Argyle is poised to be the street-chic statement for Fall 2018.

The eye motif trend has been building for a few seasons on several runways and on accessories everywhere, but the allure of this ancient motif goes much farther back than that.

The vibrant colors and motif-rich heritage of Mexico are visually compelling for any designer, and listening to some of the music by Mexican artists and international musicians influenced by them is equally an enriching experience.

Considering the longevity of the hand motif as a source of protection, love, and power and as a potent symbol in art, maybe it is not so strange that it is resurfacing as a trend in fashion.
