#1 - Embellished Bomber Jackets! Although it was very difficult to pick a trend we thought topped the charts, we felt the bomber had a universal appeal since it is a strong trend for Men's Ladies' and even Children's fashion. From Gucci to Alexander Wang, we've seen bomber jackets appear on runways in myriad ways in 2016. The over the top embellishments gave this silhouette new life. What's more, these embellishments overlapped with many other motif trends that were going on: Chinoiserie and Japanese-inspired motifs, tropical plants , fruits, palms, as well as exotic animals and insects. All these were elaborately executed with printing, embroidery, beading, and appliqued patches. These fun yet sophisticated pieces are versatile and can be worn everyday in a variety of settings.
